A toy truck rolled b ehind th e rob ot. Behind the truck a tin duck waddl ed and quacked. Billy peeped over th e counter top. Stripe was sitting on the floor b ehind the counter, winding up toys. Billy charged! ' A wind ·up bird whirred straight into his face. He stumbled back and fell, and th e gremlin ned.
The pub was alive with ugly, clawing, grinning gremlins. Dorry's regular patrons had fl ed when the gremlins invaded the place, smashing the windows, upsetting the tahles, pounding on the har.
