Lauré Haile gave it the name of "Western Swing". I took jazz dance three times a week and never complained; it was my life. I look forward to a lifelong education in dance and it is a privilege to share my love of Jazz with the students of the Academy where I have taught since 2000. This is a wonderful class for Dance Team members to work on their technique in front of a mirror. AGES: 18+ THIS IS AN ADD-ON CLASS, AND CURRENTLY BY INVITATION ONLY. Nationally, Sidi has presented at various museums, such as the Metropolitan Museum in New York City. Classes begin with that all important warm-up followed by a cardio dance workout (high OR low impact). Cross-cultural comparisons of ballet's reception as scandalous in non-Western cultures, in contrast, show how ballet performs a desire to expose and transcend the body in contrast to local movement practices that value a body's individuality and are grounded in everyday activities.

Mills contributed a podcast about Light to the Voices on Anti-Semitism series at The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and was invited to speak about the work at The United Nations in 2014.
