Human Life on Mars - In this WebQuest, you'll investigate the conditions on Mars and report your findings to the humans who live on Earth in the form of a news broadcast. Comets, Asteroids and Meteorites are all examples of "space debris". Because some of these objects can collide with the Earth, asteroids are also important for having significantly modified the Earth's biosphere in the past. Small ones slow down drastically when they hit the atmosphere, and reach a speed of only a few hundred kilometers an hour while they are still many kilometers in the air.
